Policies

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointments cancelled less than 3 Business days prior will incur a $50 cancellation fee or loss of deposit. To cancel your appointment, the easiest way is through the client portal (Click HERE). You received an invitation to join the portal after booking your first appointment. If you have not activated the client portal and need to cancel, please use the Contact Us form and include your name and the date and time of the appointment to be canceled.

Downtime Planning

Filler

Expect bruising, swelling, and tenderness for up to 2 weeks! You may cover the bruises with makeup starting the day after treatment. Do not schedule a filler appointment within 4 weeks of professional photos or a big event. You should avoid vigorous workouts for 3 days after filler injections.

Microneedling

Expect 3-5 days of skin redness and dryness. Bruising is possible in sensitive areas such as around the eyes, or when increased depths are required (acne scars).

Tox (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin)

Bruising is always possible and is most likely around the eyes. You may have small areas of swelling for up to 30 minutes after the treatment. You need to avoid any pressure on your face (massage/chiropractic table) and vigorous exercise for the rest of the day. Results take up to 14 days to fully take effect, so plan in advance! I recommend having Botox/Dysport injections 4-6 weeks before a big event.

Chemical Peels

The ZO No Downtime Peel and the AlphaRet Pro Peel are both no downtime, although mild dryness can occur with the stronger Pro Peels.

The 3 Step Peel has a 7 day down time and does involve peeling of the outer layers of the skin. The bulk of the peeling occurs on days 3-5 post procedure. You must avoid direct sun exposure for the entire 7 day healing time.
